What We Learn
Our baton twirling classes not only focus on teaching children how to twirl a baton, our classes encourage teamwork, poise, hand-eye coordination, as well as help children build their self-esteem. Students learn baton twirling tricks in class as well as a dance-twirl routine and a parade routine. Students also have challenges in class where they have an opportunity to earn ribbons! The challenges in class are based on tricks or routines that the students have been working on in class. We strive to combine fun with learning in all of our classes!
Our color guard classes not only focus on teaching students how to spin a flag, our classes encourage teamwork, poise, hand-eye coordination, as well as help students build their self-esteem. Students learn spinner tricks in class as well as routines.
Our Competition and Parades
Students will have an opportunity to show off their skills at an off-site competition in May! Trophies will be awarded to all students who participate in the competition! Rosette ribbons will also be awarded to the winners of the competition. In addition, students will have the opportunity to march, as part of our award-winning parade group, in parades.
What Happens At The Last Class
At the last class, students will show parents and guests tricks that they have learned, as well as their parade routine and dance-twirl routine. At that time, awards will be given to students with perfect attendance! Weekly make-up classes are available!
Where We Offer Classes
Classes are currently offered to youths ages four to twenty years old in several locations throughout Michigan, including Grand Rapids, Wyoming, Battle Creek, Muskegon, Fremont, Paw Paw, Jenison, St. Joseph, Niles, Ionia, and Holland.
Baton Twirlers - This is a great opportunity which can lead to students becoming a majorette for their school and a scholarship to college!
